The short version: it is free, your content is yours, keep backups, and be decent to the service.

These terms are an agreement between you and DynamIQ Learning LLC, the maker of AdaptivStudy. By using AdaptivStudy you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The privacy policy explains how data is handled and is part of these terms.
AdaptivStudy is a free, ad-supported study web app. It runs in your browser, and your study sets, progress, and stats are stored on your device rather than on our servers. There are no accounts and nothing to purchase.
You may use AdaptivStudy for personal study. You agree not to misuse the service: no attempting to disrupt or overload it, no probing or attacking its security, no scraping it at scale, and no using it to break the law. That is the whole list; studying hard is encouraged.
Study material you create or import is yours, and it stays on your device. We never receive it and claim no rights over it. You are responsible for what your sets contain, for having the right to use any material you import, and for keeping backups with the built-in export. If your device or browser data is lost, we have no copy to restore.
The Prompt Builder produces a prompt for you to run in an AI assistant of your choosing, such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. Sharing material with that provider is your decision and your responsibility: your use of the assistant is governed by its own terms and policies, and it is up to you to make sure anything you paste there is something you have the right to share. AdaptivStudy is not a party to that exchange and cannot see it; nothing you send to an AI provider, and nothing it returns, passes through our servers. The same goes for what the assistant produces: AI-generated study material can be wrong, and checking it before you rely on it is your responsibility, not ours.
AdaptivStudy is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error free, or that any study outcome will be achieved. Exam results remain stubbornly your own responsibility.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DynamIQ Learning LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of AdaptivStudy, including lost data or lost study time. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us to use AdaptivStudy, which is zero.
We may change, pause, or discontinue AdaptivStudy at any time. Because your data lives on your device, a change to the service does not delete your sets or progress, and the export feature is always the safe way to keep your own copy. We may also update these terms; the date above changes when we do, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
